Access Data In The Network
Data providers register their collections and web services in the SCOOP Metadata Catalog. The SCOOP Catalog provides a data access portal. Data collections in the SCOOP Catalog are automatically registered in discovery portals and clearinghouses maintained by the Federal Geographic Data Committee (FGDC) and the Global Change Master Directory (GCMD) at NASA.
Hurricane Winds
You can access historical winds from major hurricanes by selecting "Wind" as the "Data Type" in the interface below and then choosing among the available "Year - Storm" options. These historical winds can be used as forcing for numerical models that predict storm surge, inundation and waves.
Observations
In the future, you will be able to conduct a Catalog search to find observations accessible through the OGC-compliant web services used in OOSTethys. To this end, SCOOP partners are developing access interfaces for the OOSTethys service registry.
Historical Modeling Studies
You can find results of numerical modeling studies conducted by various scientists who have used the SCOOP infrastructure in the past. Use the drop-down menus to search among the available resources in the archive.
